Our story
Grove Farmstead is a family-run chicken farm on the edge of the Southern Highlands, three generations deep. We raise pastured birds on rotating paddocks and sell most of what we produce direct, no middle step between our gate and your kitchen.
The flock moves to new grass every few days, which keeps the ground healthy and the birds active. It's slower than shed farming and it costs more in labour, but it's the only way we know that produces meat worth the price.
There's no big team here, just family and two farmhands who've been with us since the shelters were still built from second-hand timber. Most customers know us by name, and we like it that way.
